This specialized potting mix is formulated specifically for epiphytic Hoya plants, which are 
accustomed to growing on trees and other surfaces and do not require traditional soil nutrients.  The soil and nutrient-free formula helps to prevent root rot and promotes healthy root development.
 
Instead of soil, this mix is made with a combination of lightweight, moisture-retentive materials that mimic the natural environment of epiphytic Hoyas. 
The mix's high aeration and drainage properties allow for optimal air circulation and prevent 
waterlogging, which can be detrimental to epiphytic Hoya plants.
 
The airy and porous nature of this mix makes it ideal for transplanting delicate Hoya cuttings. The mix provides the support and moisture that cuttings need to establish strong roots.
 
Despite its lightweight composition, this mix has excellent water retention capabilities.  It can hold up to two times its own weight in water, 
providing Hoya plants with the moisture they need without overwatering them.

40% Perlite: A lightweight, porous mineral that enhances drainage and aeration.
20% Vermiculite: A mineral that retains moisture and improves nutrient uptake.
20% Coconut: A natural substance that provides structure and water retention.
20% New Zealand Sphagnum: A high-quality moss that retains moisture and promotes root growth.
